Road Warriors

via Apparel News

This editorial styled by our fashion editor N. Jayne Seward and photographed by Richard Knapp reminds me of Tina Turner in "Mad Max" and a dash of Pris from "Blade Runner" with a good measure of leather thrown in. I hope we'll be dressed like this in our not-so-distant, itinerate, post-Apocalytic future.

Dead Doll Dance

I spotted this brilliantly bizarre and hauntingly spectacular 160g Magazine editorial from fashion editor and stylist N. Jayne Seward.

Photographed by Pamela Reed and Matthew Rader and styled by Aki Maesato, TRIBAL DANCE is reminiscent of a forgotten—in this case Amazonian— rag doll reanimated and come back to life in a stop-motion haze. The fluidity and mobility of the editorial really translates well and only be achieved through the Web.

The Morning After

I think I've gotten a little less excited about the Academy Awards over the years. There were no real surprises on who won any of the acting accolades. Glad the "Hurt Locker" won, which I caught just recently and am still deconstructing. Hope I age as gracefully and be as badass as Kathryn Bigelow. "Point Break," thank you very much!

Red carpet-wise my favorites were Carey Mulligan looking lovely in Prada with the crazy craft-drawer clutter on the bodice.

And glamourpuss Diane Kruger in Chanel Haute Couture.

I'm still a bit on the is-it-lovely-or-is-it-hideous fence over Sarah Jessica Parker's neck strap and Zoe Saldana's tribbles she smuggled on her gown. For more blah, blah, blah on all the red carpet shiz, read here.

The Ballad of Johnny and Winona

Distressed motorcycle jacket (probably his) and wine-stained lips. Gorgeous!

My friend Andrea said she sometimes has Johnny + Kate days or sometimes has Johnny + Winona Ryder days. I think I have majority Johnny ♥ Winona days pretty much all the time. Love that's too young, too much, too fast, too beautiful, too brilliant.

Surprise, Surprise

via the Cobra Snake

Was randomly trolling the Cobra Snake last night and found my unpolished toes (ew!) in my Balmain-esque Jeffrey Campbells. It was from when I attended the Hello Kitty 35th anniversary party, which was beyond overloaded with Harajuku-levels of cuteness and colors.

Is It Spring Yet?

Eryn Brinie via Nasty Gal

I've basically been living in dark-colored blazers as my outerwear of choice for the past year or so. These two gems by Eryn Brinie are fueling my hunt for the perfect light jacket for Spring. I'm not bowled-over crazy about chambray and its eminent presence across most Spring wardrobes, but I can get behind this loose trench-fit. They both promptly sold out in my size as soon as they came on Nasty Gal. Hopefully, they'll restock more soon.
